TAEKWONDO TERM 3 AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM at EMMAUS PS!

BRAND NEW TAEKWONDO PROGRAM!
This new & exciting Taekwondo Program will specialise in the teaching of effective self-defence and Taekwondo competition skills in a responsible & safe class environment. Sessions will promote respect for personal health and wellbeing, plus foster an attitude of personal growth and development.

Kelly Sports Ballarat has partnered with Trainor Taekwondo Ballarat to ensure a highly fun, professional, safe & age appropriate curriculum is taught & delivered within our Kelly Sports after school program.

Students will be progressively introduced to a broad range of traditional Taekwondo skills including strikes, blocks, kicks and a wide range of self-defence skills.

Children will be encouraged to embrace traditional Taekwondo etiquette and show respect & control in all partner simulations. Our sessions will be managed to cater for all ages, levels of skill/fitness and most importantly to ensure the MAXIMUM LEVEL OF SAFETY.

Children will also be taught a range of modified Taekwondo/avoiding games that emphasise fun, fitness coordination and schoolyard assertiveness. All skills and coaching is designed to enhance the confidence and self-esteem of each student.

Thursdays 3:15pm-4.45pm (90 mins)
10 week program
Starting Thur 18th April (Week 1)
Concluding Thur 23rd June (Week 11)
No session Thur 25th April due to ANZAC Day PH (Week 2)
Boys & Girls, Preps to Grade 6
Cost: $230 + GST for the 10 week term ($23 + GST per session)
* Sign-up at anytime and only pay for the weeks remaining in the term!

(Also running a Multi-Sports Program after-school on Tuesdays from 3:15pm-4:45pm)

Our sessions focus on fun, enjoyment and maximum participation. The after-school programs will be delivered on site at Emmaus PS. Our coaches will be sure to collect & account for all kids enrolled in the program after the school bell. Parents then just need to collect their child/children from the Car Park Turn-Around at 4:45pm. Our coaches will never leave until all children have been collected by their parents/guardians.

* Children are more than welcome to change into sports clothes and/or runners, so please feel free to pack these, however they are not essential. An extra snack is always advised as we do allow the kids to have something quick to eat before the session starts. A drink bottle and a hat for term 1 are essential.

* Children with any important medical information (Asthma, Anaphylaxis, ADHD etc) need to have this information included in their Kelly Sports profile.

* If your child/children will ever be absent during the term, please be sure to text Dom to let him know.
